Hi guys! If you're reading this right now, thanks for visiting! I started this blog as an outlet for the random host of ideas that gurgle around in my brain all. the. time. Seriously, all the time! I love love love any and all things creative and basically want to learn how to do all the things. I've dabbled in sewing, baking, woodworking, knitting, jewelry making, upholstery (harder than I thought it would be), and embroidery, just to name a few. I think that a lot of creatives/makers have the same tendency to let their creativity overflow into other areas so I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in my desire to explore any/all of my interests. My intention for this blog is to focus mainly on home decor--projects, ideas, thoughts, and tips. My philosophy on home decor is that you should be surrounded by pieces that you love! I like to think of my home as a jewel box filled with treasures that I've collected over the years and things that I've made and poured my time into. I'm crazy about finding and creating these treasures for myself and everyone else! My house is filled with diy projects, made-over thrift store finds, little treasures that have been passed down from people that I adore, furniture that I've made (I made a legit coffee table!!!), and pieces that I've snatched up from estate sales. Don't get me wrong, I have a couple IKEA pieces mixed in there like everyone else in the world but they're pieces that I love so they count as treasures, too.
